At the bottom is a link to the National Weather Service page that has all the historical temps as well as other geographical info. To make a long story short though, altitude is 4400 feet and temps average in the high 70's to mid 80's.
Some star parties include a list of interesting or sometimes challenging objects to view. Has there been any thought to including such a list in the packet?
You'll be able to pick the area you want, and will then be guided by a volunteer. We want to keep tight control over parking so that no-one is blocked in.
1. I don't quite follow the fees, is it $140 ($70 per parent; kids are free) for a family of four and camping is included?
2. One night fee would be $50 ($25 per parent; kids are free) for a family of four and this would include camping?
3. How does public night work (I don't see any link describing this)? With no vehicles allowed to come or go at night how does the public come in and leave in the dark with their lights off? How late can the public stay?
Dan, that's correct. For all four nights, it's $70 per adult which includes parking, camping and showers.
For 1 night, it's $25 per adult for the same privilege.
Public night is modest.. and is on Friday night. Basically you can park outside the gate (in the outer field) and walk in. Public night attendees cannot camp. Does that clear things up?

Thanks, Ken
We usually do that. As the event approaches, we'll get some of our observing lists up on the web site.
Thanks
Andreas
1. With the new site plan will we be able to choose the parking spot for our motorhome as long as it's in the designated area?
2. Are you still planning to post observing lists on the website?
Thanks... looking forward to another fun GSSP!
